Comicbookmovie.com via Hero Complex reports that Yes Man’s Whit Anderson, who was going to punch up a script to a new version of the 90s ghoul-kicking epic from Avengers’ Joss Whedon, has been axed [Pun intended.] from the project. Whedon was not pleased with the idea, since he would not be providing any input on Buffy 2.0. While the production company is currently looking for new writers, it’s believed this decision put a damper on the film’s momentum.
