Via Dark Horizons, Cinemablend notes that the threequel to the stoner buddy comedy series, Harold and Kumar, will be shot in 3D and include an appearance from Ratatouille comic actor Patton Oswald. Apparently going for the X-Mas theme this time out, Oswald will play a pot-selling Santa. While the status of the film was originally unknown-due to Kal Penn working for the White House under the Office of Public Engagement [Thanks, Wikipedia!]-IMDB suggests he will be returning along with Harold actor John Cho.
Another returning regular is How I Met Your Mother/Doogie Howser, M.D. lead, Neil Patrick Harris, the latter of who plays a meta version of himself in the series. In addition, actresses Danneel Harris and Paula Garces will reprise their roles as Harold and Kumar’s love interests. New to the mix are Machete star Danny Trejo and MAD TV actor Bobby Lee.
