EKU®'S REVIEW: What can 2 losers do in life to get recognition in society? For one thing, they can't do it alone, so relying on each other (eric tsang and francis ng), they use each other's skills in show business to do it. Eric tsang plays a once-hot director who had struck rock bottom lately after scoring an all time low TV rating of 16 points. His boss (maggie siu) requires him to get at least 20 points to keep his job.

Francis ng plays a similar character, having once reached his peak of fame as a singer (a very girlish one) in the past. now, as eric tsang discovers francis, they decide to attack the hong kong tv audience by storm. and they do get that success they were looking for and scored a well respected tv rating. But like all hot stars in the show biz, their popularity won't last. Now the producers are ready to give up on francis and depriving his wish to sing the opening song in new years celebration show. Will Eric betray his friend or conform with the tv station?

Micheal Tse plays a rival director who is jealous of eric (look like his character in killing ends). The acting was good in the most part, francis plays a challenging role but seems too sissy and odd. The whole movie contains lots of sudden scene changes with a strong sound effect. The musical score resembles desperado and spanish music, but I thought that worked out good. An interesting movie, which seems to be funny by the title, but it isn't really, instead it was more artistic.
