In all fairness it's a matter of opinion. I have always loved Ekin for his charisma and charm he brings to the screen, but as far as fighting goes, well... ok, let's just leave it at "well...". In any case this film wasn't a star vehicle for Ekin but for the Twins; hence the name. And boy, what a disappointment. The story, acting, action were all painfully bad. From the very beginning of the film it looked incredibly promising, with slick production values and colors; also the rain scene at the church couldn't have been better; reminded me of the first batman flick. But as soon as the fighting began between Ekin, Josie Ho and the main vampire, I was like "oh, not another one of these movies". Of course, I really wasn't thinking that the whole film could stay this bad, but let me tell you folks, it doesn't really ever get better. The next fighting sequence was a staff duel between the two twins. I couldn't strop cringing watching this scene, they should've just threw two doubles in the mix and made it at least moderately enjoyable. But no, it was the real twins and IT SHOWED. I almost had to go puke after this scene, it was so bad. Oh yeah, what about the cameo from Jackie, probably the highlight of the film, which of course is not saying much. I was surprised by all the crazy stunts that he preformed for such a small role, charming as always. Then it was back to more BS fighting and, what do you know, even more BS fighting. What a mess. And then there were all the subtle advertisements that they tried to sneak in throughout the movie. Everything from Motorola to Kellogg's. They have to pay for the bills somehow. At times It was like watching a commercial on DVD. Anyhoo, a very bad outing for Ekin, and the twins, and I don't know how Donnie Yen produced such crappy action. Oh well, as they say, "shit happens". Fans of the Twins will probably love this movie (ages 12-16). Getting to see their idols fighting all the vampire baddies and watching them explode on film will be a pure delight. If you thought the Medallion was bad you haven't seen nothing yet. This movie encompassed the worst of the Medallion, Charlie's Angels, Highlander and Blade. Highlight quote of the film, "Our beds are not just for sleeping". Good luck trying to enjoy this film.
