OFFICER NG'S REVIEW: One reason why this movie may remind you of The Mission is because of the color scheme ? lotsa blues and greens, and a lot of night scenes. The gun battles are pretty cool, and the Malaysian settings are a nice change. And the flick flies because it's only 76 minutes ? not 102. Pretty cool little movie. Daniel Wu's in it, but it's only an extended cameo, a little at the beginning and a little at the end. The one babe who's in it looks like she'd go down like a tall glass of water.

OFFICER NG'S RATING: 6.5/10

BEN POPPEL'S REVIEW: This movie reminded me so much of The Mission but had hardly any similarities. Maybe it was that most of the movie four or five members were traveling together. Or maybe it had something to do with the hauntingly good music playing in the background. Whatever the case, actor Simon Lui did a fantastic job playing his character (of an ex cop turned triad member). Kind of has the same facial expressions as Francis Ng does in the movie mentioned above. The backdrops and locations where the movie were filmed were also pretty good for the budget they had to work with. The story fell off track at times and contained too many flashbacks - not necessary for the development of the plot. But overall, it was a pretty good movie and kept you wanting to see how it would end. If you Love The Mission and want to check out a film,as good, but watchable, check out Undercover Blues.
