Reviews

MIGHTY PEKING MAN'S REVIEW: It's hard to believe that Ronny Yu (Legacy of Rage) directed this "wannabe" epic. It's pretty much a poorly written, low-budget, copycat of "Year of the Dragon". Filled with genuinely bad actors and actresses including that guy who tries too hard to be an intense villain - Billy Drago (The Untouchables). That Steven Vincent Leigh (Ring of Fire) has to be one of the worst Asian actors I've ever seen - you give the guy a serious role to play, and he ends up acting like he's in a bad Don "The Dragon" Wilson movie - basically, watch his performance in "Ring of Fire" and that's what you'll get here. Too many bad performances to list so I'm gonna save me some typing power. Russell Wong's performance in this film is fairly average but he sure shows much more depth in his character than he did in "Romeo Must Die". I refuse to believe that Ronny Yu had anything to do with this film.
