Reviews

NINGEN'S REVIEW: So after Destroyah, Toho created a new continuity for Godzilla. In this installment, the Big G has to fight a monster which resembles the one from Godzilla 98, as well as a UFO. Ripping off Twister, this installment includes a single dad and his kid who, instead of running away, actually travel around Tokyo to look for Godzilla. They meet some single girl who works as a reporter covering Godzilla. And they all became the Brady Bunch. Anyway, as you can tell, the sub-plot is mediocre, Godzilla's nemesis lacks any worthwhile gimmicks, and the fight scenes are way too short. About the only reason to watch it is that it's the first Godzilla to incorporate CGI elements.

NINGEN'S RATING: 6/10
