WellGo U.S.A. just tweeted that they licensed the basketball drama, which you can catch a trailer for here, and which is scheduled for DVD and Blu-Ray release on May 3. The film is also loosely influenced by the Slam Dunk manga and anime, the former of which is currently about half-way done with its U.S. publishing run, and the latter legally available here.
