I guess Favreau thinks people actually want to see his fat ass interrupt the story again. Won’t he be in for a disappointment.
Yeah, they had a similar problem with Chow Yun-fat’s portrayal in the third Pirates movie. Not sure why, when everyone’s basically an anti-hero in that series, but there you go. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pirates_of_the_Caribbean:_At_World%27s_End#Censorship
I think the big offender was the scene where Chow Yun-Fat tried to force himself on Kiera Knightley. As a Chow Yun Fat fan, I was disappointed to see that in the movie as well.
I haven’t seen any of the POTC flicks, but that sounds a bit risque for a PG-13 movie.
So it’s not dark, even though the trailer is? How does that work?
I like Iron Man, but I still don’t think of Robert Downey Jr. as that character. That guy alongs in the porn industry.
in my opinion, downey added the much needed humor that really made comic book movies work, in a way they never worked before. i like him. i prefer standalone iron man films more than anything.
Sorry for my typo there, ‘belongs’ lol. I have very loud heavy metal music on my computer and it’s hard to type haha.
I respect your opinion. If people didn’t like him at all, he wouldn’t be in the sequel.
I still read it that way. lol Yes, it really is a matter of opinion. Whoever thought IRON MAN would be the guy, along with Spider-man, to bring Marvel movies to a newer height?
It’s disappointing that we Westerners won’t get to see Fan Bingbing’s scene(s). I didn’t read about it until today but apparently the Chinese cut of “Looper” is slightly longer as well.
I’m sure there’ll be some SE down the road, ‘cus Disvel is always looking to cash in.
