THE MOVIE: Daniel Craig is back as James Bond 007 in Skyfall, the 23rd adventure in the longest-running film franchise of all time. In Skyfall, Bond’s loyalty to M (Judi Dench) is tested as her past comes back to haunt her. As MI6 comes under attack, 007 must track down and destroy the threat, no matter how personal the cost. The film also stars Berenice Marlohe, Judi Dench, Naomie Harris, Ben Whishaw, Helen McCroy, Albert Finney, and Ralph Fiennes. Directed by Road to Perdition’s Sam Mendes. In theaters November 9, 2012.

Updates: Collider reports that Daniel Craig has signed up for two more Bond films after Skyfall. Check out the video for a behind-the-scenes look at what to expect from the opening sequence. Also Empire Cinemas is reporting that Skyfall will come in at a lengthy 145 minutes. Also, in case you haven’t seen it, here’s the latest international trailer.
Total Film has a new batch of photos. Director Sam Mendes states: “There are definite echoes of other Bond movies – the Aston Martin DB5, the return of Q – and there are some that only the hardcore geeks will get! I hope they want to go on this adventure.” Ropes of Silicon has two new Skyfall TV spots, banners and photos. There’s also information regarding an upcoming documentary (with a clip) titled Everything or Nothing: The Untold Story of 007. In addition, The Wrap has more information on Adele’s James Bond theme song, which is titled Let the Skyfall. Apparently, it has been heard and it’s going to be a “show-stopper”.
Cinema Blend has the cover art to what appears to be Adele’s single for her upcoming James Bond tune, Let the Skyfall. According to the National Ledger, the song’s producer, Paul Epworth, is calling it “the best of the last 30 years.” Hmmm, better than Duran Duran’s A View To A Kill theme? We shall see.
Rope of Silicon has a new set of video blogs that reveal an underwater fight sequence. Correct me if I’m wrong, but this may be the first underwater fight sequence since 1989′s License to Kill. Idolator has a 90 second sample of Adele’s 007 song Let the Skyfall. You can now catch Adele’s Let the Skyfall in its entirety on youtube. Plus, a new Skyfall clip of Bond catching a train, courtesy of Yahoo. Also, check out the newest trailer, accompanied by Adele’s song.
Collider has 4 new clips. Feast your eyes on the new IMAX poster and enjoy the latest 2-minute trailer. Latino Review reports that John Logan, one of four credited writers on Skyfall, has been hired to write the next two films in the franchise. Some of his other credits include Gladiator, Hugo and The Aviator.
BREAKING NEWS: Total Film (via Collider) says: Mendes has remained tight-lipped on his chances of returning, although with Skyfall smashing box office records left right and centre, we’d be surprised if Sony let him go without a fight. And, given that he’s come up with the idea for Bond 24, it should at least have his fingerprints over it…

Awesome! I hope this is true. A little Tang goes a long way. =D
I’ve been wanting to write a review for Lust, Caution for a while, but was never sure where to start.
Is that movie any good?
I dug it, but not know why I needed to see Tony Leung’s jewels.
Tony Leung put the Lust inside Tang Wei’s Vaga big time!!!! The Bond chicks keep gettin hotter and hotter….
“Update 23: This pic was begging for a caption, so I’ll go with, “Who wears short shorts?”’
I was hoping this would be a picture of the Bond girl!!
It’s a bit long for a non-rebooted Bond film. I hope the fact that it’s a dude who has little experience with action directing-Road to Perdition is more of a drama-doesn’t mean they didn’t know how to cut it properly.
I can’t remember the last Bond movie song that I genuinely liked…”License to Kill” wasn’t bad but that was a long time ago. I hope this one will be good!
I like the 90 second preview, it reminds me of the old Shirley Bassey theme songs – but hopefully she starts belting out the notes towards the end of the song.
