The Onion AV via Digital Spy repored that Suburban Commando’s Hulk Hogan was initially asked to take on the role of Randy ‘The Ram’ Robinson later played by Mickey Rourke. But the Hulkster declined, because he didn’t think he’d be taken seriously. In addition, Nicolas Cage(!) was also a possibility for the role.
