The 3,200-square-foot loft was converted by Joseph Lembo and Laura Bohn of the Manhattan firm Lembo-Bohn Design Associates into a luxurious living place. Low bookshelves acted as a divider between the living room and the bedroom areas. The changes in the view by day and night gave the movie set an extra dimension of reality that would have been difficult to reproduce artificially.

Three television sets stood at the foot of the bed, which was situated a level above the living area. A pool-sized bathtub and shower were the focal point of the tiled bathroom. Three other small televisions provided bathtub viewing.
