Reviews

GWAILO'S REVIEW: Oh boy!.....Where do I begin? A soused Jade Leung asks mystery man, everybody's favorite actor, Michael Wong to kill her husband. She is suspicious of her workaholic husband dipping his pen in the company ink. That's about the extent of this excruciating to watch plot. I think this plot has been used a handful of times already with better results. Billy Tang did it best in Run and Kill. Two A-list stars have been reduced to appearing in trash like this. What the heck is going on? Everyone seems to be listless, dreaming of the days when their careers were better. You almost feel sorry for them...almost. Someone needs to fire their agent! The film is a great argument for the supposed decline of the HK film industry. The production value is dirt cheap. Like when a porn is obviously being shot in the directors den or backyard. Unbelievable!! One upside to the production is Michael Wong's cantonese has improved greatly...oh wait...his voice is even dubbed! Stay away at all costs. Well, if you want to look at Jade Leung I won't hold it against you.
