According to The Wrap, Arclight Films is getting ready for Outcast, an action drama starring Con Air’s Nicolas Cage and Star Wars Episode II: Attack of the Clones’s Hayden Christensenin. The $25 million film will be set in 10th Century China, and follows a warrior who finds redemption by saving a beautiful princess.

The Holding’s James Dormer will be writing the script and stuntman Nick Powell (who worked on a number of titles including The Bourne Identity and Resident Evil: Retribution), will be directing for the first time. Arclight Films is selling worldwide rights to Outcast, with plans of shooting in 2013.

Updates: According to THR, location scouting for Nick Powell’s Crusaders-in-China war movie has begun, with the co-production slated to open simultaneously worldwide in November 2013, says the project’s Chinese backers.
