"Indiana Jones and the Raiders of the Lost Ark" IMAX Theatrical Poster
Cinema buffs have been waiting years for Indiana Jones to arrive on Blu-ray and, at last, it looks like our wish has been granted. /Film has the press release announcing The Complete Indiana Jones Collection to be released this fall 2012.
The box set will feature all four films on Blu-ray: Raiders of the Lost Ark, Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom, Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade, and Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull.
Here’s the word directly from Steven Spielberg:
“…we haven’t removed anything, we haven’t added CGI, there’s no digital enhancements! It’s purely the movie some of you may remember from 1981.”

Also, Hollywood Reporter gives note that Raiders of the Lost Ark will receive an IMAX release on September 7th, 2012, ahead of the series’ Blu-ray debut, which you can pre-order here.
