This is an old school classic starring Jet Lee when he was just getting his start in films. Lau Kar Leung does an excellent job with the direction but it’s Jet that makes the movie! Being the best on the screen has always been Jet’s intention and he is nearly manic at times. You can feel him radiate determination and the certainty this young man would go far in films.
Get this one, it’s a keeper!
I can’t wait for it to come out. August and September are shaping up to be KILLER months for Asian blu-ray and DVD releases! Thanks for the shining recommendation, JJ.
