BREAKING NEWS: Check out the new poster for Tom Yum Gong 2.

Okay I give up. I don’t care anymore if Sammo or Panna or Thai or HK Triads are funding it or if they are taking up collections from the crew – someone make a good movie with Tony! Well as I said that a while back I should have qualified it.
The little group is back together with the addition of Jija Yanin. But for the love of Buddha why are they doing Tom Yum Goong 2??? (Yes I know to make money) Jaa alone has enough name recognition I think by now they could do something like, oh come up with something original? A lot of fans are tired of the Ong Bak series (which is over) and elephants, which were featured in Tom Yung Goon. Whatever they do if a decent film is made I hope they do not chop up the scenes and change the storyline on the U.S. release.
Wow, that’s a great shot of the opening ceremony. Tony Jaa looks a little different there – more thin or something? I know the poor guy has been through a lot. I think they’re going to make a kick-ass movie. And I’m happy to see Dan Chupong involved too.
tony jaa n entire fans lets rock tom yum goong
tom yum goong 2 will get u goosebumps all over yo body….
A lots of Frnd r waiting 4 Tom Yum Goong2
Good for marrese crump.he’s another American martial artist, and he beats the crap outta dave Bautista in Wrong side of town.
Oh yeah I forgot all about Tony Jaa I thought he had retired in a buddha temple. Good to see him back in action, hope he has improved his wooden acting.
Tony will run circles around Van Damme anyday.and Van Douche is an expert when it comes to wooden acting.
Oh man hell noooooooo!!!!!!! What’s the holdup? What have they been doing for 8months and only 40% finished!?!?!? That is a long long time to be shooting, and now their money is gone? They needs to get it together quick!! TIme is being wasted at lightning fast speeds.
40% translate to: over-budget/ broke/ will work for food sign…
i can’t wait to watch this movieee……hopefully it will give benefit to who that watchig this movie….c in cinema!!!!
Back in the old days they used to shoot out martial arts films so fast. Now we get a few maybe ok martial arts films a year. It’s quite sad to see a great genre die out right in front of ones eyes. The work ethnic destroyed by cgi and computers. The art of filmaking morphed into something else, people want comic book hero movies not martial arts stars anymore. Now they can hire the nerdiest actor and beef him up without the nerd doing one big of work besides memorize his lines. Quite pathetic really, at least Christian Bale worked out some for his Batman Role etc…
go!go!go! im very like tony jaa i like here moves
tony jaa turoan mo naman ako sa mga moves mo!gusto ko kasi matutu ng martial arts!
his new movie is a good news… but wish he’s the only star there… jeja is good too. But watever… he’s the BEST !!!!!!!!!!!!! i can’t wait to see…. and am happy for him getting married. <3

he is a great fighter…….dying to see the protector2 ….
They went over budget? Nothing new there.
Okay, Twitch is saying 1st trailer is coming in Spring of 2013. Hope there is no more delays this time, like what went down in Ong Bak 2.
What a turn of events. It was said that after TYG2, Tony was going to spend more time with his wife and kid, but now all of a sudden he has 2 new projects lined up. Shit happens.
Just let Sammo handle the fights. We all know Jaa admires Sammo and Biao. As for Van Damme, Sammo has worked with him before on Double Team. The fights were well choreographed in that movie and they made Van Damme look pretty sharp. I don’t know how many of you are Van Damme fans, but he is a official Facebook user. He’s been doing this tour thinging around the world or something, and he was in Thailand. That’s where he met the one and only Tony Jaa lol. They took some photos together and Van Damme showed it on Facebook. Jean-Claude mentioned that Jaa gave him like a buddha statue necklace of some sort too. I guess they became friends. With the photos of them doing martial art movements, like high kicks and jump kicks, the fans probably wanted them to star in a movie together.
Van Damme kind of introduced Muay Thai in his Kickboxer film with Dennis Chan. Then Tony Jaa did a more appropriate introduction to Muay Thai, so those 2 should really do at least 1 film together. Van Damme is considered Oriental himself, and that’s coming from Tsui Hark, who has worked with him in Knock Off.
No, no, NO to RZA having a part in this film. He was the worst part of The Man with the Iron Fists. I guess it could be ok since he’s only acting. But damn, he ruined that movie. Don’t mess this one up.
They slo, hurry up so slo and now I have to wait Damn u!
I didn’t know Jaa would be that self-deprecating in this one. You sure this isn’t a spoof of the original TYG?

I did see the TYG2 leaked preview via the 2nd website (required a search). Though I would have preferred to see a lengthy preview, it looked pretty good. I’m pretty sure the stunts are going to be epic and 3D viewing would take it up a notch. Thanks for sharing. All I can do is wait and I’m sure the team will definitely deliver whenever they decide to release it. I wonder why Hollywood hasn’t gotten Tony Jaa to maximize the use of his talents, heck HK is nearby with Sammo, that would be an excellent collaboration.
Thanks for the tip. I went ahead and added the new link. Also noted that you may have to do a search.
