THE MOVIE: David Ayer – the award-winning writer of Training Day, and writer/director of Street Kings, Harsh Times and End of Watch – will be teaming up with Arnold Schwarzenegger in an action thriller called Ten.
The film’s plot, written by Skip Woods (A Good Day to Die Hard), must be something special, because Ten marks the first time David Ayer is directing a movie based on someone else’s screenplay. According to THL, Ten is about members of an elite DEA task force who decide to steal millions from a drug cartel safe house, but just when they think their plan was flawless, they end up getting murdered one by one (just like John Matrix’ crew does at the beginning of Commando).
As for Schwarzenegger, the legend shows no signs of slowing down as an action star. In addition to starring in Simon West’s The Expendables 2, Kim Ji-woon’s The Last Stand and Mikael Hafstrom’s The Tomb, pre-production on his film with Mike McCoy & Scott Waugh’s Unknown Soldier has just begun. Remember when he said he’d never do another action movie again? He lied.
Update: In an interview with Empire, Schwarzenegger says: “Breacher, especially, will be very like a new Predator,” he adds. “It’s a team around me and they get knocked off until there’s only me left. Except in this case there will be a different twist to the whole thing instead of some alien monster.”
BREAKING NEWS: Collider has the first image of Arnie from Ten.

He’s back!
“Why can’t they just call him Girl George?”
“It would cut out all the confusion I’d think”
“Here come the sandwiches!”
“Don’t disturb my friend.
He’s dead tired.”
“You f*cking whore!”
“I’ve only known you minutes,
and I want you dead, too.”
“I’ll be ready, John!”
“Come on, Bennett.
Let’s party.”
